National Defence University (NDU) Admissions 2021 has now announced its admissions. NDU opens its admission twice a year (or Contemporary Faculty), Spring Admission in December and Fall Admissions in June and July. NDU has started its Fall Admissions 2021 and its official notification has been displayed.

National Defence University is a public sector university in Islamabad. It has been established for the studies and research of Military Science, Public Policy, Geostrategy, Leadership, Peace Studies, and International Relations. It was established in 1970 by the name of National Defence College and it got the position of a university in 2007. This institution is funded by Education Commission and Defence Ministry. General Pervaiz Musharaf, General Jahangir Karamat, and General Ishfaq Pervaiz, and many other army officers are serving this institution as professors.

Faculties

There are two faculties at National Defence University (NDU)

• Faculty of Security Studies ( For Serving Miliitary and Senior Civil Services Officers)
• Faculty of Contemporary Studies (open for general public)

Note: FCS has recently started BS-Economics as well.

Commencement of Classes

Due to COVID-19, Fall 2021 semester classes can be conducted online. You should have internet and technological facilities. Classes will be commenced on September 27, 2021 (for BS programs) and September 06, 2021, for MPhil and Ph.D. programs.

Entry Test

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for National Defence University (NDU) Admissions 2021 are given below

• Intermediate qualification for BS
• For provisional admission, the candidate has to make a Hope Certificate from his/her institution for BS
• MSc/BS(4 Years) for MS/MPhil
• MPhil/MS or 16 Years Education from HEC recognized Institution
• Must attempt Entry Test and Interview

Last Date

The last date to apply for National Defence University (NDU) Admissions 2021 (Fall Admissions) for BS Programs is August 20, 2021, and for MPhil/PhD Programs is July 27, 2021. The last date will not be extended therefore candidates must hurry to apply for admissions.

Merit

Last year’s merit of National Defence University is not available at any site. Merit list of National Defence University (NDU) Admissions 2021 (Fall Admissions) for MPhil/PhD programs will be displayed on August 20, 2021, while for BS Programs merit list will be displayed on September 10, 2021.

Merit Determination

Documents Required

Following documents are required National Defence University (NDU) Admissions 2021

• Copy of Matric Result Card
• Copyof Intermediate Result Card (all previous acadeic records for MS/MPhil and PhD)
• Copy of CNIC/B-form of Applicant
• Copy of CNIC of Father
• 2 recent puctures of Applicant
• A certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate Part II or its equivalence

Transfer applicants must additionally submit:

• An official transcript of the undergraduate record
• A copy of the undergraduate courses description certified by the university

Transfer applicants from international universities/colleges must certify the official transcript at the Embassy of the concerned country in Lebanon and at the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Note: The processing fee for BS applicants is Rs. 500, for Mphil applicants is Rs.1000 and for PhD applicants is Rs.2000. Applicants can apply online or can download the application form and submit it to the admission office of NDU.
