COMSATS University Admissions 2021 are now open. COMSATS University opens its admissions two times a year, Fall Admissions in June and July and Spring Admissions in November and December. COMSATS University announced fall admissions and registration has started.

COMSATS University Islamabad – CUI is a public sector university under the ministry of science and technology. It was established in 1998 as COMSATS Institute of Information Technology and in April 2018 it became a Federally Chartered University under the act of COMSATS University Islamabad. COMSATS University is included in the top-ranking universities of Pakistan according to different national and international rankings. Especially, it is considered the best university for computer sciences, life sciences, engineering & technology, and business and economics fields.

According to QS World University rankings, 2022 COMSATS University is ranked 1200th globally, 146th in Asian University ranking, and in Pakistan it is ranked #7 overall. Its student body includes international students from 9 countries.

There are two kinds of Software Engineering Programs. One that is approved by Pakistan Engineering Council, after its completion a student can work as a proper engineer, on the other hand, there’s also a non-engineering Software Engineering Program that is not approved by Pakistan Engineering Council and you do not become a proper engineer after the completion of this program. There’s a difference between few subjects in these programs but the scope and job opportunities are almost the same for both so don’t be anxious about the word non-engineering it’s just a clarification from COMSATS that it is a non-engineering program. So, the last date to apply for COMSATS University admissions 2021 of Islamabad, Lahore, and Wah Campus is July 28, 20201. And, the last date to apply for COMSATS University admissions 2021 of Abbottabad, Attock, Sahiwal, and Vehari is August 12, 2021.

Eligibility

COMSATS University eligibility for different programs is given below

BS (Computer Science) & BS (Business Administration)

Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate

BS (Software Engineering)

Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent of Mathematics.

Bachelor (Business Studies) & Master of Computer Science

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with minimum 2.0/4.0 CGPA or 50% marks (annual system).

Master Public Administration– MPA

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% marks.

MA (English)

Bachelors Degree (14 years) with English compulsory and passed with minimum 50% marks.

Merit

According to the official policy of COMSATS University, the details of last year’s closing merit are not displayed anywhere. Whenever the merit list is announced it only includes the names of selected students. So the detail of last year’s merit of any campus is not available at any site.

How to Apply?

The process of applying to COMSATS is online. For COMSATS University Islamabad- CUI online admission follow these steps

• Go to the official weebsite of university or click here.
• Choose campus and program
• Fill the required information and click ‘GET REGISTERED’
• After signing up successfuly you will receive an email from the university
• Enter your email address and password
• Admission portal will be open, Read the instructions carefully
• Complete application steps one by one
• Attach all the required documents.
• Print the challan form and submit it to the designated bank
• Upload the scanned copy of paid challan with application form and submit.

Note: You can only choose one campus at a time, if any student wants to apply to more than one campus then you have to register again. For applying to each campus, the student has to pay Rs. 2500 as registration fee.
