Law Admission Test is necessary to take admission in LLB in HEC recognized institutions around Pakistan. There are some colleges and institutions where one can take admission without LAT but there is no worth of LAW there.
LAT is organized each year almost 3 times (it depends upon the interest of students). Sometimes, HEC even takes four times a year and sometimes thrice a year. The Education Testing Council (ETC) department of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) organizes this test every year.

Each year HEC takes the LAT test once at the start of the year. In 2021, Law Admission Test (LAT) was conducted four times, and here below is the record of LAT along with the result dates.

Its result was announced after almost 25 days. The test was conducted on the 7th of March and the result was announced on April 02, 2021.
And, again LAT Test was conducted on August 08, 2021, for the second time and its result of both MCQs & the Subjective part was announced on September 01, 2021, after 23 days. And, for the third time, HEC Law Admission Test was conducted on October 03, 2021, and its complete result was announced on October 24, 2021. As you might know, LAT was organized four times in 2021, so, for the fourth time LAT was held on November 28, 2021 and its result was announced
Recently Law Admission Test- LAT was conducted by the ETC department of HEC and the final result of LAT held on August 21, 2022, has been announced successfully.
Your result is divided into two sections. The first portion of the result is 75 Marks which contains only MCQs and the second portion is 25 Marks which includes Personal Statement and Essay.

You will receive your Law Admission Test- LAT result held on August 21, 2022, by HEC to your registered Email Address. So, check your Email Inbox and Spam Folder also to download your final result.

What is the date of the HEC Law Admission Test – LAT Result held on August 21, 2022?
It is expected that the Educational Testing Council- ETC department of HEC will announce the LAT (LLB Entry Test) result within 25 days after the test date. The last time, the ETC department of HEC announced the final result after 24 days. HEC has successfully announced the final result, today on September 15, 2022, of the Subjective and Objective of Law Admission Test – LAT held on August 21, 2022
What are the Passing Marks for HEC LAT?
Law Admission Test is mandatory to pass for the candidate to take admission in any HEC recognized institution. Passing marks for the LAT test are 50 collectively. You have to gain 50 marks to pass HEC LAT. There are MCQs of 75 marks and P.S & Essay of 25 Marks.
How many times LAT Test is taken in a year?
It totally depends upon HEC, sometimes it is conducted twice and sometimes it is conducted thrice in a year. For the year 2020, the first HEC Law Admission Test (LLB Entry Test) was conducted on February 09, 2020, the second time it was conducted on September 05, 2020, and for last time (the third one) it was conducted on December 06, 2020. LAT Test was also conducted four times in 2021 and it is expected that Law Admission Test- LAT will be conducted thrice in 2022.
How to check LAT result without CNIC or Roll Number?
HEC announces the LAT Result on their ETC Portal and you need to sign in to your ETC Portal account to download your LAT result. If you can not access your ETC account then just check your account Email Inbox and surely you will find your result there. So, you can download your result either by downloading it by signing in to your ETC Portal account or get it in your Email Inbox.
How to check LAT result with Roll Number or CNIC?
Sometimes, you can not access your HEC account and the Email that was attached to your account. So, HEC announces the LAt result publically under the result page where you will be asked to put your Roll Number or Email Address to check your result.
