What is Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation?

Every year Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation offers a lot of scholarships to the students of High School seniors and college students. It offers scholarships to 1,400 college students each year, with annual scholarships of $3.4 million.

The aim of Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation is to support the students to quench their thirst for knowledge. This foundation was established in 1986 by The Coca-Cola Company.

What is Coca-Cola Scholars Program?

It is a program under which Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation offers scholarships to the students of United States. Under this program High School Seniors and College students can avail the opportunity to get a scholarship.

Applications open every year for all the students who meet the eligibility criteria (See details below). After the applications process, Coca-Cola Scholar Foundation check the students capabilities for their Scholars Program and offer scholarships to the selected students.

Every year CCSF (Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation) select 150 students from applicatns under this scholarship program. The details of Coca-Cola Scholars Scholarship is given below,

Eligibility Criteria

Here below is the eligibility criteria for students who want to apply for this program,

Applicants must be,

  • High school seniors with a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA
  • Current high school/home-schooled students attending a school in one of the 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, or select DoD schools who will graduate high school during the 2020-2021 academic school year
  • U.S. Citizens (not a Temporary Resident), U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees – based on the guidelines utilized by U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid eligibility
  • Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution

Applicants must not be,

  • Children or grandchildren of employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions or subsidiaries.
  • Children or grandchildren of former employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions or subsidiaries who are currently receiving retirement benefits from those entities.
  • International students (with the exception of students attending select DoD schools)
  • High school graduates
  • Temporary Residents (in other words, your permanent legal residence is outside the U.S.)

What is the deadline for Coca-Cola Scholarship for High School students?

Applications open every year on August 01 and students can apply from that date every year if he/she meets the eligibility criteria. The last date to apply for Coca-Cola Scholarship for High School students is October 31.

There are two scholarship categories for the two-years community college students which are given below.

Applications open every year for two-year community college students on February 27 and the last date to apply for it is April 30.

Eligibility Criteria

Here below is the eligibility criteria for the two-year community college students who want to apply for either Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team or Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise.

  • Student of two-year community college
  • Not be children or grandchildren of employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions or subsidiaries.
  • Not be children or grandchildren of former employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions or subsidiaries who are currently receiving retirement benefits from those entities.
  • International students (with the exception of students attending select DoD colleges)

    • Well, it is mentioned for whole of the guide that only US (Permanent Residents) can apply. This program is only for the students in any of the 50 states in the USA.
